Sunrise at The Cruin, Loch Lomond
Have you ever thought about having a photographer capture part of your wedding day that is out with the normal?
One of my brides wanted to watch the sunrise with her bridesmaids on the banks of Loch Lomond before the madness of a wedding day commenced. Katy asked me to come along to The Cruin the morning of her wedding day and just capture these precious moments for her as they unfolded. It was an early start to make our way down onto the jetty at The Cruin, but it was worth it. The weather was typical for Loch Lomond, Scotland, but it was the emotions of the morning that was the most important thing. Wedding days can be very overwhelming and stressful, so it’s good when you are surrounded by your nearest and dearest bridesmaids for those moments that might take your breath away. The Cruin is a fantastic wedding venue, and it provided the most beautiful setting for Katy to take it all in before she said ‘I do’ on her wedding day.

Another of my brides was lucky enough to arrive by helicopter to her wedding venue! Obviously there is a slight time difference driving 50 miles and flying 50 miles! So naturally Jacqueline’s main photographer couldn’t capture her leaving by helicopter without missing her arriving by helicopter! So I came alone on the morning of Jacqueline’s wedding day to capture those last moments before the bridal party left then followed by bride and dad leaving by helicopter!
