This wedding venue is fantastic, whether it's sunny or raining (well it is the west coast of Scotland!), you will find lots of great spots of your wedding pictures.

The ceremony room itself is lovely and light, and it provides an indoor location for your group pictures should the worst happen! Outside you have the option (weather permitting) for an outside ceremony! There is also a great seaside backdrop four your group pictures.

Once your ceremony and group pictures are finished, I will then take you and your partner away, just the two of you, and we will walk round the venue to capture some wedding pictures for you to cherish forever!

FAQs

Why HLCC

Helensburgh & Lomond Civic Centre (HLCC) is such as great venue! The ceremony room is lovely and light, the staff are superb, and there are so many photo opportunities both inside and outside.

Is 1-2 hours enough for ceremony, groups & couples?

Definitely! Generally your ceremony will be 15-30 minutes long, group pictures (depending on how many) will be around 20-30 minutes, and then there is plenty time for couples pictures afterwards (generally these take 20-30 minutes).

What happens if it's raining?

Do not panic! That is one of the great things about the Civic Centre, they have some fabulous indoor spaces for pictures, so we can easily do group pictures inside as well as some couples. If you're happy to, then I will pop you under a brolly and get some outside ones too!

Do I really need a photographer? I've got my phone!

I would always say yes to this. Phones are great, and they definitely have their place for the odd selfie, but wouldn't you rather have someone else worry about making sure you get all those family members in a picture? Also, do you really want to ask uncle Bob to capture some beautiful couples portraits instead of heading for a glass of bubbly?

What do I get for my money?

Great question! Simple answer me! My knowledge of the venue, my time, and my unwavering attention on one of the most important days! Oh, you mean picture wise! Ha! Well, I will be there around half an hour before your ceremony starts to capture your guests arriving, then your arrival(s), your ceremony, group pictures, and couples pictures. I then go home and deliver a few previews to you within 24-hours (the same day if my children are behaving!), and you then receive all the edited files in an online gallery for you to download and share to your hearts content within 4-6 weeks.

This all sounds great, how do I book, what's the process, what and when do I pay?

Fantastic! I'm so pleased that you would like to book me.
All I need from you is yours and your partners names, date, rough ceremony time, and a contact email from you. I will then email you a contract to sign and invoice to pay. I ask for a £100 deposit to secure the day, the remainder is due 1 week before your wedding day.
1 month before, I will email you a day planner to get a little more information from you.

What about Saturdays, does that cost more?

Nope! The same prices stand for a Saturday or a Tuesday!

What if I want a little more than 1-2 hours?

I do have a 2-3 hour package that covers your reception as well. I'll pop along there and get some detailed pictures, some more groups, confetti shots, or even some more couples pictures if you would like.
