Helensburgh & Lomond Civic Centre

One of my favourite local wedding venues is the Civic Centre in Helensburgh. The centre was formally the Clyde Street School, built in 1903, and while it has a modern extension, it still retains some original features, such as the girls and boys entrances, and beautiful ceiling.

The ceremony room is wonderfully bright and airy. Wedding photographers are always looking for light, and the ceremony room doesn't disappoint, with big windows and tasteful decor.

The flowers are kept simple and elegant. and there's a hint of Scotland in the tartan aisle carpet.

There are many locations around the Civic Centre that are perfect for pictures on your wedding day, for confetti tunnels outside the main door, group pictures on the lawn with the Clyde behind your, and not to mention all the locations for couples wedding pictures. The centre provides so many spaces to allow you to be creative with your wedding photos.
